Nanny & Family Therapist

WHAT SHE DOES FOR LOVE: I am a Family Therapist and volunteer services to low income families and women with unplanned pregnancies through a non-profit organization.

HER STYLE: I am pretty minimal in my personal style, but I almost always wear at least one piece of sentimental jewelry - something passed down from my mom or grandmother, or something gifted by a close friend. Throughout my day, my jewelry reminds me of my loved ones and inspires me to be more like the strong women who have touched my life.

HER 2015 GOAL: One of my personal goals for 2015 is to make an effort to love more: friends, family, strangers, neighbors, homeless, animals, the earth and myself.

A LADY SHE ADMIRES: There are many great women through history that I admire, but this one has to go to my mom. My mom worked her butt off to give her kids a better life. Even her worst days when battling cancer, her smile never left her face. She continued to love all and be generous with her time and talents despite her suffering. I cannot imagine anyone with a stronger character or a better example of a strong woman that wouldn't let death bring her or her family down.

This photos reminds me of home and of the simple pleasures in life, most of which are free. Sharing $4 burritos on the beach with my best friends. No amount of money could be more pleasing or fulfilling than the company of great friends.
